About Deb Edson
I teach piano and music theory to beginners through advanced at my home studio in Graham, NC. I took private piano lessons for sixteen years, studying under concert pianist Lawrence Goodman in Nashville, TN and Dr. Roland Schneller at The Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University where I earned a degree in Fine Arts in 1974. I began teaching piano to my own children in 1987. As my children shared their music with others, I was asked by my friends to teach their children as well, and have been giving piano lessons now for over 25 years. My students have won school talent contests, state competitions, composed their own songs, majored in music in college, and become piano teachers. Teaching piano gives me great joy!
